FR. KANYONZA MEMORIAL SCHOOL HIMAS GIRLS FOOTBALL TEAM CROWNED USSSA KASESE CHAMPIONS

Kasese, Uganda - In a thrilling finale, Fr. Kanyonza Memorial School Hima's girls' football team emerged victorious, clinching the USSSA Kasese Girls Football 2025 title.

"We're overjoyed and proud of our girls for achieving this remarkable feat," said CEO Producer Joker. "Our motto, 'Inspiring for Excellence,' has truly been realized. We've not only achieved excellence but also made history in our first year of starting a girls' football team."

The team's impressive journey included a 3-0 semi-final win against Kasese SS and a 2-0 final victory against Sadex SS.

"We've kicked off our campaign in style, and this is just the beginning," said Joker. "The team's preparation and determination have paid off, and we're eager to face tougher challenges ahead."

With this win, Fr. Kanyonza Memorial School Hima's girls' football team will represent Kasese District at the regional level in Kamwenge District next month.

"The future looks bright for our girls' football team, and we're grateful for this achievement," added CEO Producer Joker. "We thank God and our entire team for their hard work and dedication.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
