Historic Royal Wedding Announced: Rwenzururu Kingdom Prince to Wed Obudingiya Bwa Bamba Princess

In a historic royal union, Prince Hilary Kibanzanga of the Rwenzururu Kingdom is set to wed Princess Hilda Karungi from Obudingiya Bwa Bamba. The Royal Wedding, scheduled for April 26th, aims to strengthen the long-standing relationship between the two kingdoms.

According to Hon. Geoffrey Kanyonyi, Rwenzururu Kingdom Minister of Information, Mobilization, and spokesperson, the royal romance has excited both cultural institutions and serves as a reminder of their shared history .

Notably, Prince Hilary Kibanzanga is a son of Kibanzanga William, not a son of Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere, the king of Rwenzururu. However they are all royal family members 

Preparations for the wedding are underway, with a launch event set to take place at Uhuru 50 hotel tomorrow. Hon. James Mbahimba, Chairperson of the Finance and Resource Mobilization committee, announced the preparations, while Hon. Juliet Best Kambale Bakoko, Minister of Gender, Rehabilitation and Disability Affairs, called for joint finance mobilization efforts to make the wedding a colorful and memorable event

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
