HON. KYABBYANGA GODFREY RALLIES BEHIND RWENZORI LIONS IN STANBIC UGANDA CUP

Hon. Kyabbyanga Godfrey, State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, is calling on fans from the Rwenzori region to flock to the Phillip Omondi Stadium in Lugogo, Kampala, to support their team, the Rwenzori Lions, as they face off against KCCA FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

The Stanbic Uganda Cup is Uganda's second-most prestigious football competition, played on a thrilling knockout basis, and this annual event brings together a diverse range of teams, including non-league sides and registered clubs competing in the Federation of Uganda Football Associations' (FUFA) five divisions.

The Stanbic Uganda Cup is proudly sponsored by Stanbic Bank Uganda, which took over the naming rights in 2017. The sponsorship deal, worth Shs. 300M for one season, is renewable and underscores Stanbic Bank's commitment to promoting Ugandan football.

The Minister, who hails from Bwera, invites all Rwenzori Lions fans to join him in Kampala and make their presence felt. Will the Lions roar to victory?
