UOXUganda President Announces New Cabinet

President Gideon Nova Kwikiriza has announced his cabinet on X, aimed at easing service delivery to members. The appointments include:

Dr. Katumwa Kenneth as Head of the Health Department. President Kwikiriza noted that Kenneth "is always available to serve UOX passionately."

Wasswa Emma as Head of Communications. Emma is described as a "passionate and self-pushing communications enthusiast" who will work closely with General Secretary @erich_mboowa to ensure smooth communication and protect the UOX brand.

Muganzi Akram as Head of Events. The President highlighted Akram's "incredible" passion for organizing events.

-Gweyawadde Muzafar as Head of Legal Affairs. President Kwikiriza praised Muzafar, noting that he "has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he's more than willing to offer leadership to our community."

Nuwatuha Prossy as Head of Protocol. Prossy will oversee the order of all UOX operations, and the President expressed confidence that she will "double her efforts" in this new role.

In a separate initiative, President Kwikiriza is currently leading a fundraising campaign to collect funds in support of Saad Junior, the son of the late Saad Shots, who tragically passed away in an accident. The campaign aims to provide support to the young boy during this challenging time.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
