Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has Launched a Kit for the Omusinga Birthday Run, scheduled for November 14.

The kits are priced as follows: Ordinary Kit at UGX 25,000, Corporate Kit at UGX 50,000, Cape at UGX 15,000, and Bottle at UGX 15,000. Rwenzururu subjects are encouraged to purchase them.

Hon. Baritazale Benson Kule, the Prime Minister of Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu, launched the kit and announced that the funds collected will support the kingdom’s radio station and the One-Stop Center Cultural Tourism Village. He urged all people to participate in the Omusinga Birthday Run

Jonan Bwambale Bamwenda, the aspiring Member of Parliament for Busongora North, has expressed support for the run, stating that it comes at an opportune time.

Sarah Ithungu Baleke, the NRM flag bearer for Kasese District Woman Member of Parliament, has proposed that Mukirinia Street be used as the starting point for the 5km race to honor the name of Mukirinia.

The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu, through its spokesperson Hon. Kanyonyi Geoffrey, is calling for sponsors to support the Omusinga Birthday Run. Additionally, each Rwenzururu subject is encouraged to contribute UGX 2,000 to support the kingdom’s projects.

Bernard Cheptoch and Rachel Chebet Zena are the Champions for the 4th Edition of Tusker Lite Rwenzori Marathon.

It was attended by runners from 35 countries, highlighting how the Marathon is international. Hon. Kasese Catholic Diocese Permitted to Run Mt. St. Mary’s College of Health Sciences.

Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Health has accredited Kasese Catholic Diocese to run Mt. St. Mary’s College of Health Sciences in a move to improve healthcare in the country. The institution that will run under Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital is meant to produce health workers who are God fearing and dedicated to their services. Mr. Joseph Kule Nzukwa, the Chairperson for the Governing Council for the institution explain that the government positively responded to their application for running a college at the diocesan headquarters.
