A Birdwatcher's Paradise
The tour, part of the #EkyootoHaMpango24 festival, highlighted the park's rich avian diversity, with over 325 recorded bird species, including the Collared Apalis and Blue-headed sunbird. "Most tourists come to Kibale to trek chimpanzees, but birding is another activity that should not be missed," emphasized Minister Mugarra.
Protecting the 'World's Primate Capital'
As the 'World's Primate Capital,' Kibale boasts an impressive array of primate species, including the endangered red colobus monkeys. By supporting conservation efforts, visitors can help protect these incredible creatures and their habitats.
