Bwera School of Nursing and Midwifery Graduates 190 Dedicated Students : THE HEROES IN THE MAKING

In a move set to revolutionize Uganda's healthcare system, 190 dedicated students from Bwera School of Nursing and Midwifery have graduated, ready to take on the challenges of the medical world.

"We are proud to see our students graduate and join the healthcare workforce," said Ms. Eve Ithungu, Principal of Bwera School of Nursing and Midwifery. "We have instilled in them the values of compassion, hard work, and professionalism, and we are confident they will make a positive impact."

Hon. Godfrey Baluku Kabyanga, State Minister for ICT and National Guidance, urged the graduates to maintain a positive attitude and adhere to their professional code of ethics. "The most important thing that has killed most health facilities in this country is the poor attitude of health workers. I urge you to desist from such bad acts and focus on your professional ethics."

The graduates, who have completed certificate and diploma courses in nursing and midwifery, are now ready to join the healthcare workforce and make a difference. "We are excited to start our journey as healthcare professionals," said one graduate. "We are committed to providing quality care and making a positive impact in our communities."

The graduation ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Hon. Sowedi Kitanywa, Member of Parliament for Busongora North, who emphasized the importance of exemplary behavior and hard work among nurses and midwives. "You are the future of Uganda's healthcare system, and we expect great things from you," he said.
