Medical Personnel Wanted for Extortion at Bwera General Hospital

Police search for medical personnel accused of soliciting money from patients at Bwera General Hospital. Multiple reports and complaints allege Robert Muhindo extorted money under the guise of medical bills.

"We will do everything in our power to ensure that justice is served and that patients receive the respect and care they deserve," said SP Nelson Tumushime, the Rwenzori East Regional Police Spokesperson. "We take allegations of extortion very seriously and are committed to holding accountable any medical practitioner who betrays the trust of their patients."

The police are working to locate Muhindo, and once apprehended, he will face legal proceedings for investigation into the allegations.

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
