Sponsor For Biira A Street Light Scholar Starts Paying Half Bursary Until She Completes Studies- Kasese

In a heartwarming display of community support, Biira Mackline, an 11-year-old student from Eden Preparatory School, has been awarded a half bursary for all her studies, thanks to the generosity of Kabagambe Kenneth!

Mr. Rogers Thembo presented the offer on behalf of Kabangambe Kenneth, and Biira's mother, Ithungu Levina, was present to witness the payment. Biira's heart was full of joy and gratitude as she received the news.

Biira's determination to become a doctor and make a difference in her community has inspired many, and her community has rallied around her to support her dreams. "I'm so grateful for Mr. Kenneth's support, which will help me achieve my dreams," says Biira.

Her parents, Mbahimba Moses and Ithungu Levina, are overjoyed and thankful for the community's support. "We're so proud of Biira and her determination to succeed," says Mbahimba. "We're grateful for the support, which will help us provide for her education."

Biira's journey to receiving this support began when she was spotted by Jonan Mumbere of Jee Rick News reading books under a street light near her home. This moment was captured on video and quickly went viral, catching the attention of education supporters. Kenneth Kabagambe was one of those inspired by Biira's dedication to her studies, and he pledged to support her education career by committing to pay 50% of her school fees until she completes her studies.

Biira's parents had previously struggled to pay her school fees, but Kenneth's generosity has eased the financial burden. Biira's father, Mbahimba Moses, is a farmer who has always tried to provide for his family's needs despite economic crises. Now, with the community's support, Biira can focus on her studies without worrying about the financial burden.

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
