TEACHER ARRESTED FOR EXAM MALPRACTICE IN KASESE

Kisinga, Kasese - A teacher at Kisinga Voc, Kabugho Elizabeth, has been taken into police custody for allegedly facilitating exam malpractice during the Senior Four exams.

According to Rwenzori East Police Spokesperson, SP Nelson Tumushime, Elizabeth was supervising at Vision Secondary in Kisinga Sub County when she was caught using her phone to take pictures of geography examination paper.

Kasese District Education Officer, Ernest Thabugha, has condemned the act of malpractice, stating that it can lead to severe consequences, including the confiscation of teachers' documents, stress for children, and potentially resulting in a school losing its center number.

Investigations are currently underway to ensure the integrity of the examination process is maintained.
