Bishop Olwa Urges Christians to Embrace Forgiveness

In a powerful sermon delivered yesterday afternoon at St. Paul's Cathedral Hill in Kasese Town, Bishop of Lango Diocese Rt. Rev. Prof. Alfred Olwa emphasized the importance of forgiveness in the lives of Christians. "Learning to forgive is crucial for spreading the Good News to nations," he stressed.

"A Christian who can't forgive can't spread the word of God to their neighbors," Bishop Olwa noted. "Let us teach and support one another, and help the church grow and move forward with its works."

Preaching from Proverbs 6:1-2, which is the theme of the four-day convention, Bishop Olwa emphasized the significance of forgiveness in the Christian journey.

In a separate message, Rev. Capt. Mary Nyuki from the Diocese of Mt. Kenya encouraged believers to have faith and be prayerful in order to challenge the power of evil in their families, churches, and communities. "Have faith and be prayerful, and you will see the power of God manifest in your lives," she said.

The convention, aims to inspire and equip Christians to embrace forgiveness and spread the Good News to all nations.
