Busongora North Champions League Celebrates 7th Anniversary

The Busongora North Champions League is proud to celebrate its 7th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in promoting sports development, youth empowerment, and community growth. Over the past seven years, the organization has achieved impressive milestones in various areas, including:

- Talent identification and development

- Education and sports bursaries

- Sports club creation and youth engagement

- Infrastructure development (playing facilities, goal posts, etc.)

- Equipment and resource provision (sports wear, training equipment, etc.)

- Community support (cows, financial resources, etc.)

- Health facility support (mattresses, food items, latrine construction, etc.)

- Business revenue boost in hosting areas

- Collaboration with local authorities for security and other initiatives

- Latrine construction at Mbata Health Center II and completion of Mbata Health Center II building

- Donation of motorcycles to the boda boda community

These achievements demonstrate the organization's dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and the broader community.

To celebrate this milestone, the organizing committee has selected eight teams that have previously won the championship or finished as runners-up. The teams are divided into two groups:

Group A: Ajax FC, Rungendabara Town Council FC, Mubuku United, Ibanda Kyanya Town Council

Group B: Vision SC, Kitswamba Muhumuza United, Buhunga United, Hima Town Council FC

The tournament is scheduled to kick off on December 1st, 2024, at Hima Playground.

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
