"Rest in Peace, Jajja": Bobi Wine Mourns Beloved Grandmother

The National Unity Platform (NUP) leader, Bobi Wine, is mourning the loss of his maternal grandmother, Jajja Aidah Kyosimb'onaanya, who was laid to rest today at Butenga village in Kawoko, Bukomansimbi district.

"I'm grateful to Allah for granting Jajja a long and productive life, and for the opportunity to see her grandchildren succeeding in their various life endeavors," Bobi Wine said in a statement.

Bobi Wine expressed his heartfelt appreciation to fellow comrades and leaders in the NUP who joined him to bid farewell to his grandmother. "I'm thankful for the love and support shown by my colleagues and friends during this difficult time."

As he said goodbye to his beloved grandmother, Bobi Wine prayed, "May her beautiful soul rest in peace. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un!"
