ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION EFFORTS GAIN MOMENTUM : MARU FOUNDATION

Kasese, Uganda - Maru Action Development Foundation's recent "Go Back to School" tournament has inspired a new wave of environmental conservation efforts among local youth.

The event, held at Hanar Preparatory Nursery and Primary School, aimed to promote education and sustainability through fun and competitive activities.

We're committed to empowering young people to take action against climate change," said Fred Marule, Executive Director of Maru Action Development Foundation.

Wilbert Thaheremboko, Community Officer, added that the foundation also involves people with disabilities in conservation efforts, educating them on climate change prevention through activities like tree planting.

The foundation's efforts align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 13 (Climate Action).

Experts urge everyone to join the effort by planting trees and supporting local conservation initiatives.

By working together, we can create a more sustainable future for generations to come.
