Miss Tourism Rwenzori Region 2025-2026 Crowning Set for This Friday

Kasese, Uganda - Get ready for a spectacular evening of culture, beauty, and talent! This Friday, July 4th, 2025, the next Miss Tourism Rwenzori Region will be crowned at Legacy Chill Out in Kasese Town.

Six talented young ladies are vying for the coveted title, each with a unique perspective on promoting Rwenzori's culture, tourism, and hospitality.

Masika Rinah, a proud Mukonzo from the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains, aims to showcase her culture's richness and values to the world, carrying the spirit of her culture, heritage, and people with confidence, purpose, and pride.

Kabugho Kevin celebrates roots and promotes cultural uniqueness, emphasizing pride in heritage and identity.

Natukunda Linda promotes Rwenzori culture, community, tourism, and hospitality, showcasing unique traditions and customs.

Nitusima Christine highlights cultural differences and encourages appreciation, promoting tourism through unique traditions and customs.

Wase Mutoni Lydia believes Rwenzori has many tourism attractions and wishes to promote culture and tourism, excited to share her vision.

The Miss Tourism Rwenzori pageant showcases Rwenzori Region's tourism strengths through pageantry, engaging talented young ladies to promote their region locally and internationally

Kasese Mourns : Senior Four Candidate Dies at Bwera SS

The deceased is identified as Nabasire Sulaina Index Number U0436/200 has been studying at Bwera Secondary School.  She passed away suddenly last night. The student, had sat for two UNEB papers exams just yesterday, was rushed to Bwera Hospital after experiencing terminal agitation but unfortunately died upon arrival.
