Bunyaruguru United FC ( Rwenzori Lions FC) Prepares for Historic Away Game Against Kaaro Karungi FC

Bunyaruguru United Football Club is gearing up for its first official away game in the 2025/26 FUFA Big League season against Kaaro Karungi FC. The match is scheduled to take place on September 28, 2025, at Kyamatte playground in Ntungamo, kickoff at 4:00 AM.

According to a statement from the club, significant progress has been made in establishing the team's structures and administrative system, with over 85% completion. The club has confirmed several coaches, players, and administrators, with team preparations reportedly going well.

The club has announced plans to travel with 30 fans to the away game, with a transport fee of UGX 50,000 per fan. Fans are required to make payments through the office of the Club Deputy CEO, Bwambale Amon alias Amonet, on +256 772 814 236. Travel time and meeting points will be communicated separately.

Fans are encouraged to support the team and follow guidelines sent to the fans coordinator. The club expresses gratitude for the support received so far and looks forward to continued cooperation.

Kasese Catholic Diocese Permitted to Run Mt. St. Mary’s College of Health Sciences.

Government of Uganda through the Ministry of Health has accredited Kasese Catholic Diocese to run Mt. St. Mary’s College of Health Sciences in a move to improve healthcare in the country. The institution that will run under Mt. St. Mary’s Hospital is meant to produce health workers who are God fearing and dedicated to their services. The Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu has taken note of a circulating petition dated April 8, 2025, addressed to the President of Uganda, seeking urgent medical support for His Majesty Omusinga Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema-Ngoma.
