Music Meets A Theme : Kyakere Carnival 2nd Edition Tackles the Fight Against Teenage Pregnancies in Rwenzori
Tul Audio and Nyabaghole Development Foundation are proud to present the 2nd Edition of the Kyakere Carnival, a vibrant celebration of music, culture, and unity, with a focus on fighting teenage pregnancies in Rwenzori. This year's edition promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring a lineup of talented performers from across the region.
The event, scheduled for October 18th at Rwenzori Square in Kasese town, will not only showcase music but also promote trade and culture through organized exhibitions. Exhibitors are encouraged to reach out to the organizers to participate.
In preparation for the main event, community meetings will kick off on September 26th in Kitswamba Town Council. These meetings aim to sensitize the public about teenage pregnancies and promote good parenting.
Nyabaghole Agnes Ithungu Asiimawe will address the public at Rwenzori Square before the music performance, highlighting the importance of the cause. Specifically composed songs will spread the message of fighting teenage pregnancies in the Rwenzori Region.
The Kyakere Carnival is expected to attract people from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kasese, Bundibugyo, Ntoroko, and beyond, making it a significant gathering for the community. This event is more than a carnival it's a unifying platform for all cultures in the region
