The 3rd edition of Tusker Lite Mt.Rrwenzori Marathon scheduled for 24th August 2024 in Kasese District. In April, three of the 2024 Tusker Lite Mt. Rwenzori Marathon courses received certification from World Athletics. With participants hailing from 32 countries confirmed, the marathon’s reach extends far beyond the borders of Uganda. For the starters, the marathon introduces a new 10KM rout, complimenting the existing 5KM,21KM and 42KM . Nyakanengo Primary School which is located in Bwesumbu sub county, Busongora County North in Kasese district will not have any candidates sitting for Primary Leaving Examinations this year The institution which is a government grant aided did not meet the required number of pupils as guided by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) since the beginning of the Year.  Empty Class ( Internet Picture )  Mr. Boniface Drum, a Teacher at the school told the press during an interview that at the beginning of first term, they enrolled only three pupils in the candidate class and later disappeared until now. It's reported that participants from 32 Countries have confirmed their attendence in Tusker Lite Mt Rwenzori Marathon on addition to those of Uganda.
